Fashion Show Information
If you think recycled fashion can only refer to hand-me-downs from you older siblings, you might want to consider hosting a Recycled Fashion Show in your school or at your group's next big event. Don't worry about the details -- MORA has put together a Recycled Fashion Show kit that will include attire and even a script. All you will need to do is find your models!
While not thoroughly mainstream in all cases, clothing and accessories made from recovered materials are definitely mainstream in quality and fashion. Recycled plastic, cotton, rubber, leather and other materials are finding new life in new products that can be worn or used from the ski slopes to the boardroom. MORA's Recycled Fashion Show will be an opportunity to see some of these items in person and in action.
If you have any recycled-content clothing or accessory items you would like to donate to the show, or if you are interested in booking the show, please contact Angie Gehlert at 1-866-667-2777 or E-mail: angie@mora.org.
