The Education Committee of the Missouri Recycling Association is focused this year on four major projects.
- The MORIC project, the Missouri Recycling Information Campaign, is a state wide education campaign designed to move beyond the awareness of the environmental benefits of recycling and acknowledge that what is good for the environment is also good for Missouri's economy.
- Investigating the possibilities of certification for Recycling Coordinators in Missouri. Developing a certification process and curriculum using certification models developed by other states as our guides.
- A Recycling Guide for Missouri stating which companies have recycled products for sale.
- A resource list of curriculum ideas for teachers of children from ages 2 to 18, or preschool through high school.
